How to install PCUAE PS Classic

IMPORTANT

Install PCUAE for the PS Classic on to a USB Drive first, then once complete change its name of the PCUAE USB Drive to SONY by going into the PCUAE USB Drive Propeties and changing its name to SONY You will see it change its inner name but will still be called thePCUAE USB Drive, the PS Clsssic will sees its inner name as SONY when you plug it into the PS Classic and then be able to boot from it.

Now put PCUAE USB Drive into the PS Classic Port 2 and turn on and wait for it to see the PCUAE USB Drive and then it will boot into PCUAE, done… it automaitcaly boots into PCUAE Mode(Autobleem).
Now you can install other Modes if you want too by put it back in the PC and install the modes you want on to the PCUAE USB Drive.
PCUAE will show you what combo buttons to use on the PS Clasic Contoller so it will show them on the screen as PCUAE loads/boots, so to change to a different mode you need to press SELECT and another button so it boots The Mode Changer, you need to do it when you see the PCUAE first boot screen, about 10 second after its starts booting PCUAE so PCUAE bios screen.
Hold down the SELECT Button and then the another button down just before the PCUAE bios screens apears so hold BOTH down until you see the screen and you see it change.

You can add PSOne games to the PCUAE-PS-Classic-Games folder, you find the PS Classic Games Manager in the A-PCUAE-PSClassic GAME_MANAGER and its exe file is called A-PSClassic_Game_Manager.exe

HOW TO USE THE PCUAE PS CLASSIC GAME MANAGER

Click on its PSClassic_Game_Manager.exe then browse to the games folder PCUAE-PS-Classic-Games and select Currently use Autobleen v.0.8 and press the Refresh button and it should find the games in that folder and show them, if any are in there, then click on Recreate DataBase button afterwards.

ADD A NEW GAME

Click on the New button to add a new game and you see a new number apear in the list.
Now click on it and click on the Edit Game.ini+picture button to add its info.

Click on the serch bar and type in the name of the game without add space so like Discworld.

If your looking for Discworld 2 you see it as Discworld ii – Missing Presumed so pick PAL ot NTSC verson if the image is that version, then click on View page here button to view its info.

Click on the blue or green arrows to add its info and its box art to the game.ini file and click on both Save as buttons to save info and box art and click on the Save button on the pop up box that appers.
Then the game will be added.

Games that can be added are: CUE +BIN, CUE+IMG(change .IMG to .BIN) and CUE+BIN+MP3.

You will need the CD image of the game and add thm to the PS Classic Game Manager, you can add them and it will add them to the USB Drive for you.

Click on the Add files to add the CD images for the game and wait for it to add them to the USB Drive.

Click on the Edit cue file(s) to edit the cue file and click on the Auto-Rename Bin file(s)` button to auto name it so all files have the same name as it SLES Number.
