Please always format your drive before installing PCUAE

This installs the PCUAE Autoboot Startup Script that on the
nandb so you can boot PCUAE on THESpectrum.

IMPORTANT

PLEASE READ FIRST and CARFULLY

How to Use

1.Press and hold down the 2 key on your PC keyboard if
THESpectrum is connected to Putty or
Open up(take a part) THESpectrum, it has 4 scews at each
corner that holds it togehter, open it carfully not to pull its
Power LED wire, its conneced to the top part on the
mini console.

2. Now find its FEL button, its located at the
   bottom right corner of its main board near its Debug(UART)
   Connector, press and hold down the FEL button on
   THESpectrum Main board, hold it down while you turn on
   THESpectrum and hold it for about 5 seconds, it now should
   be in FEL.

You might need to install the FEL driver, have a look in
Device Manager to make sure if its installed or not,
if you have never done this before then you wiil need to
install it, goto Windows folder in
THESpectrum-PCUAE-FEL-Mode-for-NANDBand click on
zadig-2.8.exe and then click on the Install Button
to install its driver.

3. Go into the install folder where you installed this and
   into its Windows folder and run FEL-Mode-THESpectrum.cmd,
   When its finished loading FEL Mode two drives will come up
   on the Windows desktop, make sure its the bigger drive
   you pick to flash the nandb on to, you can check it with
   Disk Management on Windows, DO NOT PRESS ON FORMAT DISK,
   click ONLY on Cancel ONLY.

4.Now click on Win32DiskImager.exe its in the
Win32-Disk-Imager folder, Now…

This is VERY IMPORTANT, YOU MUST GET THIS PART RIGHT
You need to pick the last drive that FEL Mode mounted,
the bigger one of the two drives, MAKE sure it the right
drive.
Look in Disk Managment on Windows to check for its size
and drive letter, you will need its drive letter below.

Smaller Drive: 16mb is nanda and
Bigger Drive: 187mb+ is nandb.

Now click on the dropdown menu and pick its drive letter
now, mine came up as I Drive and J Driveso my bigger drive wasJ Drive` last drive.

5.To copy the pcuae-THESpectrum-nandb.img over
THESpectrum’s nandb.

Now click on the blue folder icon onWin32DiskImager to
add the pcuae-THESpectrum's nandb. -nandb.img file, Its in the
pcuae-THESpectrum-nandb folder then it will copy it to
THESpectrum nandb then press on the Write button,
Once you done that Press the Write Button,

It will not take long about 30 seconds, after is finished
then power off THESpectrum, plugin the PCUAE USB Drive
in and power THESpectrum on again and it will boot
PCUAE.

ALL DONE… 🙂

Remember to update PCUAE to v5.1.1 by reinstalling it to the
PCUAE USB DRIVE before running it in THESpectrum.

You can exit Win32 Disk Imager now, All Done… 🙂
